OTHER INFO:- Deri has had a very successful career under saddle to date including qualifying for Olympia in 2002 and in 2004 winning the Junior Ridden Mare class at the Royal Welsh Show before continuing on to take the Ridden Mare Reserve Championship. In January 2005, she returned to John James of the Sianwood Stud in Llandovery to again be shown Under Saddle in 2005, having spent the autumn and winter as a happy hacker at home having a good rest and holiday.
Having had a successful 2005 season culminating at Olympia, Deri had a three month holiday before heading back to Wales to be produced again under saddle for one final season by John James.
Deri had another successful season under saddle in 2006, at the end of which, it was decided to retire her to stud. Unfortunately, in March 2007, she was kicked badly on the stifle and had to undergo major surgery. She is currently recovering well but we are unable to cover her now until 2008.
