Other info:- Purchased from Raymond Roberts at the beginning of 2006, Prince is a future husband for Sydenham Elderberry, Catmint and Crocus. He was produced Under Saddle in 2005 by John James, winning at the Royal Welsh in the Junior Ridden Stallion class and taking the Reserve Ridden Championship at Glanusk. Our grateful thanks to Raymond and Verina for allowing us to have Prince. We hope we will do him proud.

In 2007 Prince was brought back into work and he may contest some of the ridden classes later in the season.

After a six year gap, we decided to bring Prince back to the show ring. It was a very late starting season for us due to heavy snow until mid April, but we managed to go to our first show in mid May and Prince won his in hand class. He went on to win several more classes both In Hand and Under Saddle before taking the Section D In Hand Championship at the ADWPCEG Summer Show. Sadly, shortly after that, he colicked whilst at a show and lashing out in pain, kicked a granite wall. Whilst it was the end of his competing for the season, he has come sound again after sustaining severe bruising!
