OTHER INFO:- Liesl was the splitting image of her
mother when she was born except for a slightly different shaped star and stripe.
She is so big and boisterous that I got the vet to check she was a filly and not
a colt!!!! Heather is besotted by her and is a far better mother than her elder
sister Freya who really can’t be bothered with the colts and leaves their
mother, Rowena, to look after her babies.
This year started with Leisl going through the 'terrible two's' but she has
since calmed down again. She has been busy helping her new friend, Cwmythan
Mhairi Rose settle in and assisting her grandmother, Waxwing Rowena, in looking
after her latest foal, Durris Noble Spirit.
