Other Info: Heather as she is known, is the spitting image of her older half sister (Durris Free Spirit) and has the same cheeky presence. We have great hopes for this filly in the future. She has already been mentioned  on BBC Radio Scotland in a programme regarding the effects of FMD on the horse world. Heather has been produced In-Hand during 2003 by the Waxwing Stud, taking several Championships including the Scottish Elite Champion of Champions Supreme In-Hand.
In 2004, Heather was sent off to stud but refused to let the stallion near her. So home she came in disgrace only to stand perfectly for Kentchurch Cadenza to cover her.
Heather had her first foal on 9th June, 2005. It was a big black beautiful filly whom we have called Durris Lucky Touch but who will be known as Liesl.

Heather has been sent down to John James at the Sianwood Stud near Llandovery to be produced under saddle in 2006.

Will compete under saddle in 2007 ridden by Philippa James.
