Info: Freya, as she is known, was shown In-Hand as
both a yearling and a 3 year old by the Waxwing Stud with whom she took many
Native Championships and Supremes including her section Championship at The
Royal Highland and the Overall Native Supreme in both 2000 and 2002.
In 2003, Freya has been scanned in foal to Janton Dictator. It is hoped that, after
weaning her foal, she will be
broken to ride and produced Under Saddle in the future.
In 2004, Freya produced a huge but beautiful chestnut colt. We were so impressed
with him that instead of breaking her to ride, we put her back in foal again,
this time to Llanarth Solo. Her next foal is due in April, 2005.
In 2005, Freya has had a beautiful dark bay/black colt foal whom we have named
Durris Limited Edition but who will be
known as Louis.
In 2006, Freya was broken to ride with the intention of contesting the 2007
Novice Ridden classes. Regrettably, she too damaged her stifle whilst out riding
and needed corrective surgery. She is making a good recovery whilst keeping
Sydenham Elderberry company! It is now hoped she will be fully recovered in time
for the 2008 season.
